Operational update
Sudan - Since 15 April 2023, fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has continued in Khartoum, with clashes in several locations in Sudan.
On 17 May, we published our Sudan Supplementary Appeal. UNHCR’s financial requirements for the emergency total $253.9 million.
