38 construction kits were made available to the refugee community, as a result they built 1,844 permanent and semi - permanent shelters in Farchana. In Goz Beida, 60 household people with specific needs received shelter kits. 87 refugees benefitted from four training sessions shelter construction techniques. As a result 1,399 households were repaired in Farchana refugee Camp.
 
In Farchana, 19 classrooms and eight pre-schools were rehabilitated and refugees contributed 5,170,300 XAF towards four semi-permanent classrooms (Bredjing and Treguine camps).
In Iriba, three classrooms and fourteen 14 latrines were constructed; 18 classrooms were rehabilitated and 300 tables/ benches were manufactured. In order to improve the provision of emergency health care, accommodation for medical personnel was constructed in Mile Camp.

In Goz Beida and Iriba two reception centres were built to facilitate voluntary repatriation movements.

Repairs were made to the damaged rooftops of UNHCR and CNARR offices in Djabal refugee Camp (Goz Beida) following weather related changes.

As part of the implementation of a joint project on migration, an educational meeting was held in Goz Beida and the construction of the building to house radio Sila began. It was after the training of journalists and the purchase of Radio equipment. The radio Sila project will enable refugees and the host community to be informed about UNHCR activities, the consequences of irregular migration/ movement and to improve peaceful coexistence.
