2017
The main priorities for CAR refugees for 2017 have been identified according to the refugees’ needs expressed during the participatory assessments. Those needs are:
- Durable solutions such as repatriation and resettlement. Nevertheless, those activities will be partially carried out due to the insufficient of the allocated budget.
- Registration and documentation for refugees. The capacity building will be reinforced for CNAR so that it could provide protection services to refugees.
- Provide access to health care and medicines to refugees in rural and urban areas.
- Efforts will be made to cover primary education, including distribution of school kits such as uniforms, for refugee children in Likouala and urban regions.
- People with specific needs will draw our attention and various types of assistance will be provided to the targeted people.
- In order to allow the access of people of concern living in Betou area to potable drinking water and acceptable conditions of hygiene and sanitation, a provision of budget will be set aside for the related activities.
- The protection of separated or unaccompanied children will be strengthened.
