The main Child Protection concerns in 2018 included child labour, child marriage as well as children exposed to violence, abuse and neglect or separation from care givers. UNHCR and partners provided comprehensive case management services to 6,099 children (2,712 girls and 3,386 boys). All children identified as at risk of violence, abuse and neglect were provided with age and gender specific support, including referrals to specialized services such as including psychosocial support services, individual or group counselling sessions, and identification of durable solutions. Parents, community members as well as children and adolescents also benefitted from awareness raising and skill building activities on separation of children from care givers, physical safety and well-being as well as positive parenting
