UNHCR Kosovo (S/RES/1244(1999)) will monitor the administrative and judicial practices, contribute with commentaries during amendments of legal acts through 5 working groups sessions; draft a joint report with Legal Aid Agency on difficulties on access to remedies; conduct systematic supervision and report on Kosovo (S/RES/1244(1999))’s compliance with its obligations in the field of asylum (including within the framework of the IPA II Protection Sensitive Migration Management project which is EU accession driven, mid-term capacity building project).

In Montenegro, the office will prepare 4 studies/ assessments on the asylum system in the country. In addition the Office will implement 15 instances of technical advices in drafting of relevant legislation (Law on Asylum, bylaws), harmonization of the Law on Asylum with other relevant laws.  Additionally, and in cooperation with EASO (developed modules will be used), thematic trainings with relevant authorities are planned.

UNHCR will update the paper on fYR Macedonia as the Country of Asylum of August 2015, in order to support the asylum building process. Other capacity building activities will continue, in coordination with the key partners, in particular EASO, within the context of the Regional IPA II project for Regional support to protection-sensitive management of migration in the Western Balkans and Turkey.
